Amazing service unbelievable staff I purchased a reclining chair and it developed a fault they couldn't do enough to rectify the problem. after 2yrs it developed the same fault contacted them "don't worry we will talk to the rep." They called me back to tell me if Im agreeable the company produces a very similar chair and it would come with a 5yr warranty fantastic

Great selection of furniture, we dealt with Anita who was friendly and professional. The item we wanted was in stock in Carlisle and we had it delivered in a couple of days. Delivery was great, set the furniture up in the room and then took packaging away.

Updated on my orders progress even during the pandemic.
I thought the price really reflected the workmanship of the sofa and the service. We actually purchased a different sofa from a very well know retailer before this one and the quality was very poor they were out to fix it 4 times before we finally said take it back.
Delivery was very prompt they offloaded it into the house and put it in place explained the warrenty and how to best look after the sofa they also took all the rubbish with them.
I would reccomend Donaldsons to anybody who wants fabulous service and quality.

Had such a good experience. I went in and looked at the same couch 3 times as I just wasn’t sure. Nobody was pushy, just really helpful. Even offered to let me borrow the showroom model for a day to see if I liked it in my house.
My couch came quicker than expected and when it arrived I asked them to store it in my garage but they happily took it away again and stored it for me until I was ready.
Was looked after by Tony and of all the stores I went to (at least 7 others) he was nicest salesman to deal with. Very happy.

BIG THANK YOU to Donaldsons, I was finally in a position to get a sofa back in my home after storm Desmond, so I could have it before Christmas and not have to wait the normal order period they agreed to allow me to have the sofa and chair they had in stock, I rang when I was ready for the sofa and they delivered it the very next day! Thanks also to the 2 guys that carried it into the house then went and got some plastic to cover it for me, they noticed the house was still being decorated and said it would protect the furniture until everything was completed. I have been very impressed by the service we have received from Donaldson's in the past two years. When we first visited the showroom we were greeted in a friendly manner by Shell and she listened patiently and attentively as we explained what we were looking for, before spending at least an hour with us in the showroom. She answered all our questions and went to a great deal of effort to show us what was available. Once we selected the items we liked the most, Shell made it clear to us how long the delivery period might be, so that we were under no false illusions. She kept in touch with us during the waiting period which followed and was always clear about the reasons for this.
We were most impressed by her professional attitude, expert knowledge and gentle advice, that, one year later we have, today, met with Shell and ordered another item.
I wish to add that we were also very pleased with the two young men who delivered. They were polite, cheerful, helpful and quiet as they went about their work in a most professional manner.
I will always recommend Donaldson's, when the opportunity arises.

I cannot recommend highly enough. I initially emailed them to enquire about a 3 piece suite and within 24 hours received a reply. (I had also emailed another company which was more local and am still awaiting their reply!!) We decided to pay Donaldsons a visit where we met Paul who had replied to our email. He could not have been more patient or more helpful as we deliberated on choice of material and colour. He was very professional in allowing us time to decide and being on hand when we needed advice. Eventually our suite arrived on the appointed day and at the appointed time. The two men who delivered it were friendly and efficient, taking away our old suite and replacing it with our new one which had been covered in plastic to protect it during transit.
Overall the whole experience was one of total professionalism with customer service at its best. Would I go to Donaldsons again? Most definitely!!!
